<https://www.pclinuxos.com/forum/index.php> reports and
I copied his message that overnight he had:

MATE and XFCE)

Kernel 5.12.16
All KDE plasma components updated to current version
Tweaked default pulseaudio settings
Tweaked blue plasma theme on the KDE ISOs
Updated software to current versions from the software repository

<https://ftp.nluug.nl/os/Linux/distr/pclinuxos/pclinuxos/live-cd/64bit/>

I'll have to try it on my next install.

Kernel 5.12.16
Today upgraded to 5.13.2

Something interesting, both pclos and slackware-current upgrade kernels
and plasma, what seems like the same days and the same version. It's
been going on for months. The only thing I can say is when new versions
come in both distros jump on it the same time. Just a coincident, but
interesting. :)

Bobbie does pclos post a change log for the upgrade?

There nice and easy to check for the next upgrade. I like to know when
the next kernel upgrade is in.

The packager must like to keep it up to date just as do
many of the users.

Not in the way that some distros do but if you join
the Forum (and that is free) you will find numerous categories
of postings regarding software and the hardware in use.

later,
I upgrade via Synaptic at least once a day and deliberately
do a search for kernels each time. There is a specific tool in the
Distro that will update to the latest kernel each time and update
is done but I don't regard automatic actions to be well advised
for me. I want to know myself when a new kernel is installed so
that I can reboot to use it when convenient.
